UC Colleagues,
We have now finalized the sessions after completing the review of the 207 proposals we received for UC Tech 2023: Resilient, Rising & Reinspired and everyone who submitted a proposal has been notified. Thank you for your patience as there were so many great submissions but limited time slots available, it was tough to make the final decisions!
If you are interested in hosting a Birds of a Feather (BoF) on Monday, July 17, please fill in this short formby Tuesday, April 18. Monday is our day of pre-conference activities and a chance for user groups and communities of practice to gather together. We will make every attempt to provide space for anyone who wants to host a BoF discussion, however, space is limited and will be provided on a first come, first serve basis until all openings are filled. Each group will be provided a meeting space in the MLK Student Union on Monday, July 17 between 9 a.m. and 1 p.m. for a 45-minute session, then the rest is up to you! We won’t have any technical assistance that Monday, so if you choose to do a hybrid or fully virtual BoF session you will be responsible for your own technical setup and support.
Registration & Program: Coming Soon!
We are still on track to open registration later this month with a cost of $275 to attend in person or $75 to participate virtually. View the tentative program here, but be aware info is subject to change as we continue to solidify plans. We are excited to share the final program that will include all the breakout sessions, exciting keynote speakers, and networking opportunities with fellow attendees. In the meantime, browse through some of these fun ideas for things to do in the Bay Area!

UC Tech Awards: Applications & Nominations Due May 1
The UC Tech Awards Program celebrates the achievements of UC employees in designing, implementing, or managing high-impact technology initiatives. The UC Information Technology Leadership Council sponsors the program each year and selects awardees based on the complexity, impact, and mission alignment of their work affecting digital transformation. The awards provide UC-wide recognition for technology efforts of strategic importance that advance the university’s mission of teaching, research, public service, and patient care; and/or improve the effectiveness of business operations.
